During the COVID-pandemic, more and more commercial buildings and stores became vacant. For us, this was the chance to reuse one of those vacant stores as a studio ane exhibition-space. The company blaenk who rented an empty space downtown Cologne, to build a popup store, invited us to use the 600sqm-basement-floor for our creative ideas. We asked two local artists (Kai Semor and Random EXP) to put up an exhibition with us and were happy to host multiple events and give the people a bit of culture during those difficult times.
