Adrian Dittert thrives on keeping his inner child’s perspective – drawing inspiration from it and keeping a playful and experimental spirit. Working primarily with adhesives like tape and vinyl, Adrian experiments with shapes, patterns, and layers to construct art that pushes the boundaries of convention. His style can be described as an amalgamation of abstract urban, pop- and op-art, with playful, and often colorful elements that converge to create a mesmerizing visual symphony. This can go in the abstract but also in a figurative direction – from small framed works up to large-scale murals and immersive room installations.
Adrian believes that art is a universal language that transcends borders and has the power to connect people from all over the world. His artwork reflects this belief, using adhesive tapes and foils to create vibrant and dynamic pieces that leave enough space for interpretation and individual perception. Through his art, Adrian seeks to bridge the gaps between people and spark conversations that transcend language and cultural barriers. Along with that, Adrian draws inspiration from his roots in photo- and videography. His immersive multi medial installations combine technology with craft skills. By going deeper into the fascination, but also the distraction by modern technological developments like A.I., image processing and automation, he aims to integrate it into his works to see how it can be connected with creativity and human interaction.
