SCALING SPACES

On the 5th floor of H:32 we interpreted the topic “sand and desert” in a twofold way: On the one hand we abstracted dunes in the most minimalistic way possible, often resembling a yellow triangle. The Sand on the other hand we interpreted through the organic shapes using almost exclusively black tape stripes. These patterns result from wind or water interacting with sand and can be found multiples times in nature. By overlaying and intertwining the varying patterns and the abstract dunes we were able to create a unique atmosphere that engulfs the entire floor.
